Under the supervision of the technology directory, the certified IT technician must have achieved a nationally recognized technology certification (e.g., A+, Network +, CCNA, ACMT, etc.) and is responsible for the maintenance, support, and implementation of district technology equipment.

Specific Responsibilities

• Install technology equipment following industry and district procedures.
• Assist with advanced troubleshooting and maintenance of the district’s technology equipment.
• Assist with the inventory and tracking of the district’s technology equipment.
• Assist with the installation and maintenance of computer software.
• Assist with other technical support duties as assigned.

Experience 

• Previous work experience in compters, networking, and other technology systems
• Mac experience preferred
• National Technology Certification preferred (e.g. A+, Networking+, etc.)
